Metro Heart Institute with Multispeciality was founded in 2002 by Padma Vibhushan Dr. Purshotam Lal (also a recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Dr. B.C. Roy National Award), a pioneer of Interventional Cardiology in India, along with Dr. S.S. Bansal. It was set up as Haryana's first dedicated heart hospital, with a vision to bring the best possible healthcare to the masses at an affordable cost.
Spread over 8 acres in Sector 16A, Faridabad, the hospital is a 400-bedded facility with 147 ICU beds, backed by 200+ doctors and a dedicated staff of 1000+. It is NABH and NABL accredited, offering care across 30+ specialities including Cardiac Sciences, Cancer Care, Neurosciences, Renal Sciences, Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Orthopaedics, and Organ Transplant.
