What is the India e-Medical Visa?
It is an electronic visa for foreign nationals travelling to India for medical treatment. It is valid for 60 days and allows triple entry. Eligible nationalities apply online instead of visiting an embassy.
Can my family travel with me?
Family members or helpers must apply for an e-Medical Attendant Visa. A maximum of two attendants are allowed per patient, and they must arrive together with the patient.
How early should I apply?
Applications must be made at least 4 days before arrival and can be submitted up to 120 days in advance. We recommend applying 2 to 3 weeks ahead to allow for corrections.
How much is the visa fee?
The fee depends on your nationality and is non-refundable once paid. We tell you the exact amount before you apply. Azzocare does not charge for visa assistance.
What if my country is not eligible for an e-Visa?
You can apply for a regular (sticker) Medical Visa at the Indian embassy or visa centre in your country. Our team will share the exact checklist and the hospital letter you need.
What passport validity is required?
Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India and have blank pages for stamps.
